This is a nationally recognised qualification.

Get a head start in business — before you even leave school.

The BSB50120 Diploma of Business is a nationally recognised qualification designed for senior secondary students who want to understand how real businesses work and build a genuine advantage for whatever comes next. It's a rare opportunity: a full Diploma (an AQF Level 5 qualification) earned while you're still at school.

And you won't learn business from a textbook alone, you'll learn it by doing. Working through practical, workplace-style projects, you'll take on the role of a business project officer and carry a real business initiative from planning through to delivery, just as you would in an actual organisation.

Along the way, you'll develop advanced, employer-valued skills in communication, teamwork, leadership, project coordination and business operations. You'll learn how organisations plan and manage work, communicate with stakeholders, solve real problems, and deliver projects that get results.

By the end, you'll hold a nationally recognised qualification and genuine project experience — the skills and confidence that employers and universities value, and a strong head start toward future study or a career in business.

This course is designed for senior secondary students who are interested in business, leadership, and future university study. It is suitable for students who want to build practical business skills while still at school and gain a qualification that can support pathways into higher education or employment.
